Islamabad Receives 30 New Electric Buses: Find Out Routes and Stops!
To reduce pollution and noise and improve travel the government has launched a new electric bus service in Islamabad. This service offers a cleaner, quieter travel option.
Initially, 30 electric buses will run on two routes: from NUST to Pakistan PIMS and from PIMS to Bari Imam. The fare for these buses will be a flat Rs 50. An additional 70 buses will be added soon, covering 11 more routes after a month of training for drivers and assistants.
In the coming months, the fleet will grow to 160 with the addition of 60 more buses. The service will initially cover two key routes:
