Karachi, July 1: The Pakistan Meteorological Department predicts cooler weather in Karachi starting today. After several hot days, residents can expect some relief as the weather changes.

Weather Forecast and Conditions

The Meteorological Department reports that the low-pressure area causing the heatwave is expected to dissipate soon. This will allow sea breezes to return, bringing clouds and cooler temperatures to the city.

Meteorological analyst Jawad Memon reported that Sunday was another extremely hot and humid day in Karachi, with perceived temperatures exceeding 40 degrees Celsius in several areas. However, he assured me that relief was on the way.

“The low-pressure system affecting Karachi is expected to weaken soon. Starting today, sea breezes will begin to resume, leading to a drop in both the actual and perceived temperatures,” Memon said.

Looking Ahead

With the expected return of sea breezes, residents can look forward to more comfortable weather in the coming days. The Meteorological Department advises staying hydrated and avoiding direct sunlight during peak hours until cooler conditions arrive.
