LAHORE: The Lahore High Court (LHC) has converted the death sentence of the brother’s murderer to life imprisonment.

A two-member bench headed by Justice Aalia Neelum of Lahore High Court gave a written verdict on the plea of ​​the convict Gulreez, according to which the convict Gulreez killed his brother Muhammad Waqas.

It has been said in the court verdict that the trial court sentenced the criminal to death in 2020. The victim’s wife filed a case against the criminal Gulreez in Sheikhupura. According to the FIR, the criminal Gulreez killed his brother Muhammad Waqas by stabbing him.

The written judgment said that the investigating officer admitted that the knife was not sent to the forensic lab. The statements of the victim’s mother and father were felt to protect the culprit, it is true that the in-laws of the victim’s wife Sidra did not support him.
