ISLAMABAD – Family Registration Certificate (FRC), a document that provides details about members of the family, to citizens of Pakistan, is issued by the National Database Registration Authority (Nadra).

Pakistan citizens can submit an application to Nadra for FRC in the following three categories:

By Birth – The produced certificate will list your family including the details of your parents and siblings.

By Marriage – The produced certificate will list your family including the details of your spouse and children.

By Adoption – The produced certificate will list your family including the details of your guardian.

If a person is not registered in NADRA and does not hold 13 digit ID number, his/her data will not be included in FRC.

Apply for FRC

Pakistani citizens can get the FRC by visiting a NADRA Registration Center or through the Pak-Identity website.

NADRA Registration Center (NRC)

You can apply for the Family Registration Certificate (FRC) by going to the nearest NADRA Registration Center (NRC).

Overseas Pakistanis can visit the relevant mission office abroad to to obtain the Family Registration Certificate (FRC).

New FRC Normal Fee from July 2024

As of July 2024, the Nadra fee in normal category for issuance of FRC stands unchanged at Rs1,000, according to the official website.

NADRA FRC Executive Fee July 2024

The executive fee for FRC remains at Rs1,000 in Pakistan for July 2024.
