Every year, hundreds of Pakistanis travel to Saudi Arabia for employment or business purposes. Before departing, they are required to obtain a National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP) from NADRA.

NADRA is responsible for managing, recording, and issuing NICOPs to the Pakistani diaspora living in Saudi Arabia and other countries. Citizens living abroad can easily obtain a NICOP, which facilitates visa-free travel to Pakistan for those with dual nationality.

For Pakistani residents in Saudi Arabia and other countries, the new Smart NICOP can be acquired by visiting any NADRA center. The fee for the Smart NICOP varies depending on the region, with Saudi Arabia categorized under Zone B.
