Journalist Nisar Lehri killed in Mastung

QUETTA: A local journalist Nisar Ahmed Lehri, a member of the Mastung Press Club’s governing body, was killed in a shooting by unidentified assailants in in Mastung district of Balochistan.

According to Superintendent of Police(SP) Mastung Abid Khan, journalist Nisar Ahmed was shot dead by the accused near his house.

Nisar Ahmed was working as a reporter in a news agency. The family members say that the tribal conflict is the cause of Nisar Ahmad’s murder and that old enmity was going on with their lands.

According to SP Abid Khan, a murder case has been registered against the named armed persons, the killers will be arrested soon and justice will be provided to the victim’s family.

On the other hand, Sarawan Press Club Mustang has announced a three-day mourning for the murder of journalist Nisar Ahmed and has condemned the incident and demanded the immediate arrest of the killers.
