With anticipation growing, 167,077 aspiring medical and dental students are preparing to sit for the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) on September 22 in Karachi, according to Umar Khan, spokesperson for the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC).

MDCAT Exams in Karachi 2024 Location

The Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS) has been given the important responsibility of conducting this major exam, which will be held at the NED University and DUHS Ojha campus.

Of the total candidates, 13,000 will be from Karachi, with 38,000 coming from various parts of Sindh. This year’s test will determine eligibility for 858 seats in medical and dental colleges in Karachi.

MDCAT Exam Time and Documents to Bring

Candidates are reminded to bring essential documents, including:

Admit cards

Computerized national identity cards/B-forms

Domicile/PRC

Admission to the examination centers will be strictly from 7 AM to 9 AM, with the doors closing promptly afterward. The test itself will run from 10 AM to 1:30 PM.

Strict Regulations on Electronic Devices

To maintain a fair testing environment, students are strictly forbidden from bringing mobile phones, calculators, watches, Bluetooth devices, or any other electronic gadgets.

Any breach of this rule will lead to the immediate cancellation of the candidate’s admission card. As the exam day nears, candidates are urged to prepare diligently and follow all guidelines to maximize their chances in this highly competitive test.
