LAHORE: A 7-member investigation team was formed to investigate the case of spreading disinformation based on the alleged rape of a female student in a private educational institution in Lahore.

According to the spokesperson of FIA, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Cyber ​​Crime Circle Lahore has started action against the elements involved in spreading disinformation on social media through the alleged incident.

The FIA ​​initiated action on a complaint filed by the principal of a private college.

The investigation team has started identifying elements involved in the crime of spreading disinformation on social media platforms and creating a law and order situation.

All resources will be used to identify and bring to justice those involved in the crime of spreading disinformation.
