PTI founder interim bail in six, Bushra’s in one case extended

ISLAMABAD: The District and Sessions Court has extended the interim bail of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) founder in six cases and his wife Bushra Bibi in a case.

Judge Afzal Majoka of the District and Session Court of Islamabad heard the pre-arrest bail application of  PTI founders in six cases and Bashira Bibi in a case in which Imran Khan’s lawyer Zahid Bashir appeared in the court.

During the hearing, Imran Khan’s lawyer Zahid Bashir pleaded for adjournment of the hearing and said that the senior counsel is busy with other cases in Lahore and Salman Safdar cannot appear in court today.

Later, the court adjourned the hearing by extending the interim bail till October 21 PTI founders in six cases and Bushra Bibi in a case.

Earlier, Lahore High Court (LHC) has ordered the name removal of former chief minister Punjab Pervaiz Elahi and others names from the Passport Control List (PCL).

Lahore High Court judge Justice Shams Mehmood Mirza heard the case of removing the name of Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi and others from the Passport Control List (PCL).

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) submitted the report in the court during the hearing.

The FIA has removed the name of former chief minister Punjab Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi from the Passport Control List (PCL).
