ISLAMABAD: Federal Government has deployed Pakistan Army federal capital to deal any emergency like situation during the protest of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf(PTI).

The Ministry of Interior has issued a notification calling for the army in Islamabad, according to which the Pakistan Army has been called under Article 245 and it has been made clear that those who break the law will be dealt with iron hands.

According to the notification, the Army has also been assigned powers to impose curfew to maintain law and order situation in any area.

Sources indicate that security forces have also been authorised to shoot miscreants and troublemakers on sight.

It should be noted that during the PTI protest in Islamabad, miscreants rammed a vehicle on the Rangers personnel on the Srinagar highway, in a result 4 Rangers personnel were martyred while 5 Rangers and 2 policemen were also seriously injured.

According to security sources, 4 Rangers and 2 policemen have been martyred so far in the attacks on the law enforcement agencies by miscreants, while more than 100 policemen have been injured so far, many of whom are seriously injured.

Earlier, A crucial meeting took place at Adiala Jail between Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar, and Provincial Advisor for Information Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif, lasting approximately 90 minutes.

According to sources, Barrister Gohar and Barrister Saif sought Imran Khan’s approval to engage in negotiations with government representatives.
