ATC approves 7-day physical remand of Azam Swati

RAWALPINDI: The Rawalpindi Anti-Terrorism Court has approved another 7-day physical remand of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf(PTI) leader Azam Swati in the arson and vandalism case.

PTI leader Azam Swati was produced before the Anti-Terrorism Court in Rawalpindi on completion of 2-day physical remand. ATC Judge Amjad Ali Shah heard the request for physical remand.

The police requested for further physical remand of Azam Swati, on which the court approved the physical remand of Azam Swati for another 7 days.

A case has been registered against Azam Swati in Taxila police station under terrorism provisions.

Azam Swati is accused of arson, vandalism, rioting and interference in government.

It should be remembered that two days ago, Azam Swati was arrested again by police as soon as he was released from the Attock jail.

Earlier, Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) leader Azam Swati rearrested after being released from Attock jail.

Former federal minister, Azam Swati was re-arrested by the police as soon as he was released from Attock Jail.

According to the police, Azam Swati was arrested from outside Attock Jail. Taxila and Hassan Abdal police stations have registered cases against the former minister and other leaders.
