ATC confirms bail pleas of PTI founder in four cases

LAHORE: Anti-Terrorism Court(ATC) Lahore approved Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan’s bail in four cases.

Lahore Anti-Terrorism Court Judge Arshad Javed heard the bail pleas against PTI founder Imran Khan in four cases of arson and vandalism.

The court ruled on PTI founder petitions and granted bail in all four cases.

The court approved Imran Khan’s bail in 4 cases including the burning of the office of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) in surety bound of Rs 500,000 in each case.

Earlier, Barrister Saif, Advisor on Information to the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, has expressed confidence that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan will be cleared of all charges within the next month and a half.

In his statement, Saif also noted that Bushra Bibi, Imran Khan’s wife and former First Lady, has no plans to enter politics. However, he added that she would be warmly welcomed if she chose to do so.

Saif also criticized Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi for his remarks against PTI, suggesting that the governor might benefit from mental health support and should consult a specialized hospital.

On provincial initiatives, Saif mentioned plans for a government-backed life insurance company to cover employment, education, and health schemes.
