Petrol price in Pakistan will remain unchanged till Nov30

Govt decreases petrol by Rs1, diesel by Rs4 per litre
ISLAMABAD: The federal government announced on Friday that petroleum product prices will remain unchanged across Pakistan until November 30.
According to the notification, petrol will continue to be sold at Rs. 248.38 per litre, while the price of high-speed diesel remains at Rs. 255.14 per litre. Similarly, the prices of light diesel oil and kerosene remain unchanged.
Earlier reports suggested that the government was considering an increase in petroleum prices due to a high premium on global markets and rising import costs. Sources had speculated a potential hike of Rs. 2.58 per litre for petrol and Rs. 5.91 per litre for high-speed diesel.
However, the government ultimately decided to maintain the current rates.
