Rangers, Police arrest 7 suspects of banned outfit in Karachi

KARACHI: Pakistan Rangers and Sindh Police have arrested seven operatives of banned outfit Baloch Liberation Authority (BLA) from Old Golimar area of Karachi on Saturday.

Spokesperson of Sindh Rangers said, Rangers and police in Karachi arrested 7 suspects belonging to the outlawed BLA while acting on a tip-off in Old Golimar.

The spokesperson said that the accused are involved in target killing, street crime and drug trafficking. The arrested suspected identified as Saber, Waleed, Adnan, Faisal, Muhammad Faheem, Sameer and and Ehsan Pathan.

He said that among the arrested suspects are those involved in killings, robberies, street crimes, drug trafficking and the accused of the banned organization BLA. The accused used to provide financial support to the banned organization BLA.

Spokesman Sindh Rangers said that the suspects belong to Kashif Dada, Naeem Dada, Kamal and Kashif Sindhi groups. The LEA recovered 8 nine mm pistols, 550 different types of ammunition, 16 mobile phones were recovered from the possession of the accused.

Sindh Rangers spokesperson said 2700 grams of Tanzania, 1280 grams of ice, 4 Wi-Fi devices, one motorcycle and cash were also recovered from the accused.
