KARACHI: Sindh Rangers and police have arrested the most wanted accused of Lyari gang war involved in funding the banned organization.

According to the details, Sindh Rangers and Police, acting jointly on the basis of intelligence information, arrested the most wanted accused of Lyari gang war involved in financing and facilitating the banned Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF).

According to the statement issued by the spokesperson of Rangers Sindh, Sindh Rangers and police have taken action in the area of ​​Baloch Colony on the basis of intelligence information.

Rangers spokesperson said the accused had joined the gang of Lyari in 2012, the accused Habib Ali has been jailed several times before, the accused is involved in large-scale drug trafficking in Lyari.

Spokesman Rangers further said that the accused is an accomplice of operatives involved in the killing of a law enforcement officer in 2023 and used to work for Bahadur PMT, a gang war commander based abroad.

Spokesperson of Sindh Rangers said, Rangers and police in Karachi arrested 7 suspects belonging to the outlawed BLA while acting on a tip-off in Old Golimar.

The spokesperson said that the accused are involved in target killing, street crime and drug trafficking. The arrested suspected identified as Saber, Waleed, Adnan, Faisal, Muhammad Faheem, Sameer and and Ehsan Pathan.
