CTD Sindh foils major terror bid in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD:  The Counter Terrorism Squad (CTD) Sindh arrested two terrorists near Al Manzar, the terrorists wanted to target Rangers vehicles.

The terrorist attempt was foiled in Hyderabad, the Counter-Terrorism Squad (CTD) team arrested two terrorists from near Al-Manzar.

The spokesperson said that the terrorists wanted to target the vehicles of the Rangers. The CTD recovered  two hand grenades, explosives and cash were recovered from the terrorists and the terrorists were identified as Taj Muhammad and Parel.

It may be recalled that in November last year, a terrorist of a banned organization was arrested during a joint operation by CTD and police in Hyderabad.

Officials said that grenades, IED making equipment were recovered from the terrorist while ball bearings, battery, remote control, tape and other items were also recovered.

Officials said that the arrested terrorist has been identified as Ayaz Janja, the terrorist was planning terrorism in the area.
