LAHORE: The Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) teams on Saturday detected massive power theft in Lahore and imposed heavy fine on factory owners.

LESCO Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Shahid Haider, the owners of a furnace mill in Shalimar area of ​​Lahore were stealing electricity by installing mobile transformers. After registering a case against the accused, the process of deduction bill has been started.

Shahid Haider said that a few days ago a big electricity theft was caught from a steel mill in the same area, both the mills have been fined more than one billion rupees while the process of deduction bill has also been started.

He further informed that influential power thieves are being caught with the help of Rangers.
