Senior PTI leaders among 31 indicted in PML-N office torching case

LAHORE: An anti-terrorism court (ATC) Lahore indicted 31 accused including Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf leaders in the case of burning the office of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).

The hearing of the case related to the burning of the PML-N office in Lahore was heard by Judge Arshad Javed of the anti-terrorism court. Dr Yasmin Rashid, Mahmoud-ul-Rashid, Umar Sarfaraz, Ejaz Chaudhry and others were presented from jail while Sanam Javed appeared for attendance.

The court indicted Dr Yasmin Rashid, Umar Sarfraz Cheema, Ejaz Chaudhry and Mian Mahmood-ul-Rashid, Sanam Javed and other accused were also indicted.

All the accused, including the PTI leaders, denied the crime.

The hearing of the case was adjourned till January 23. Further proceedings of the case related to the burning of the office of PML-N in Lahore will be held in Kot Lakhpat Jail.
