KARACHI: At least two real brothers were killed and three other were injured due to firing by unknown persons Haroonabad area of the SITE, Karachi.

According to the police, five brothers were injured in the firing by unknown persons in the residential colony of Karachi Water and Sewerage Corporation in SITE Area Haroonabad, out of which two died while three brothers are undergoing treatment at Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre.

Among those killed are Asadullah and Samiullah, while the injured include Ikramullah, Ameer Abdullah and Shafiullah.

According to the police, except for Ameer Abdullah, all the brothers were government employees. The   shooting suspects did not take anything valuable from the house and did not loot, all the brothers lived together.

Earlier, the children of the dead and injured persons had a quarrel with some boys in the neighborhood. After the quarrel, the elders of the areas resolved the matter.

According to the police, the family members suspect that the boys who fired are the same with whom there was a quarrel yesterday.
