Interior Ministry decides to review FIA performance
ISLAMABAD: The Interior Ministry has decided to examine the performance of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).
The Federal Ministry of Interior has decided to review the FIA’s performance and a five -member special committee has been constituted to make a report and make a report in this regard and a notification has been issued by the Interior Ministry for the formation of a committee.
According to the details, the Director General National Police Bureau has been appointed as the Committee Convener, while the Director Police Bureau, Joint Secretary Ministry of Interior, Deputy Commandant National Police Academy and Deputy Director TOC Unit NPB have been appointed as members of the committee.
Sources said that the committee will inform the Interior Ministry in the report how the FIA’s performance was like while the committee would audit the FIA’s performance.
According to sources, the committee will review how many cases the FIA has registered and how many accused have been arrested.
