Punjab government to launch special bus service for rural women
LAHORE: The Punjab government has decided to introduce Maryam Nawaz Community Health Services in the province.
A meeting chaired by Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz was reviewed in the province’s health facilities.
The meeting decided to introduce Maryam Nawaz Community Health Services in Punjab. Maryam Nawaz Community Health Services Department will meet 19 major tasks.
In Punjab, 20,000 health inspectors will be hired throughout serving, Lady Health Workers Program will also be linked to Maryam Nawaz Community Health Services, under which 39,000 Lady Health Workers will be part of Maryam Nawaz Community Health Services Force.
The Work Force of Community Health Services will consist of more than 60,000 people. Maryam Nawaz Community Health Services will be responsible for other vaccinations, including polio. Authentic records of patients will be compiled through community health services.
The meeting was informed that 93% of the patients are satisfied with health services reforms, that the mapping task will also be completed from Maryam Nawaz Community Health Services.
Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz ordered immediate steps to activate community health services, seeking a comprehensive plan on Community Health Services.
Earleir, Government of Sindh, in collaboration with its partners, is launching a targeted polio vaccination campaign, the first phase of which is in 27 high-risk union councils of Karachi from February 22nd, to strengthen children’s immunity and curb the transmission of the poliovirus.
