KARACHI: As many as three were people killed in tragic road accident in Korangi Crossing area of Karachi on Saturday.

Rescue sources said three people were killed in a traffic accident at Korangi Crossing. The police said the three victims were travelling towards the Ibrahim Hyderi area when the dumper, reportedly coming from the wrong direction, struck them.

The police officials said the mob set fire to the dumper while the driver fled the scene.

Earlier, father and son were killed in a dumper collision in Malir Halt area of ​​Karachi, while a few hours before the incident, three people, including a spouse, were killed in a dumper collision near Millennium Mall in Gulistan -e -Johar.

Earlier, A young man working at a puncture shop died after dumper truck tyre burst in Maripur area of Karachi.

According to the police, the incident took place at a puncture shop near Sar mast Mazar on Maripur Road in Karachi, where the puncturer lost his life due to a burst tyre.

The police said that the deceased Tuheed was fitting the tyre of the dumper by applying a puncture when the ring of the tire of the dumper came out and hit the head due to which he died before reaching the hospital due to excessive bleeding.
