Gujranwala: The local court on Wednesday handed over human trafficker, Usman Jajja, to the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on six-day physical remand.

The accused Usman Jajja was presented to the Judicial Magistrate’s Court during which the FIA ​​requested the physical remand of the accused. Usman Jajja, arrested in 19 cases involved in human trafficking.

The court handed over Usman Jajja to the FIA ​​on a six -day physical remand and ordered the accused to be re -presented to the court on March 17.

On the other hand, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif congratulated the FIA ​​Gujranwala team, arrested by Usman Jajja and called the Prime Minister’s Office.

The Prime Minister also gave a reward of one million each to the 3 -member team, while the Prime Minister also awarded one million to Director Intelligence Bureau (IB) Malik Asif.

Earlier, Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) had arrested Usman Jajja, the prime suspect in the Greece boat tragedy case.

According to the FIA, Jajja had escaped from Sialkot jail and had been hiding in Gilgit-Baltistan since then. Officials stated that Jajja was running an international human smuggling network.

The Greece boat tragedy occurred on December 14 last year, resulting in the deaths of 40 Pakistanis. At the time of the incident, Jajja was in Sialkot jail on charges related to a brawl.
