CTD detains four alleged facilitators of Jaffar Express attack

QUETTA: The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) detained four alleged facilitators of the Jaffar Express attack.

CTD sources said that investigations into the terrorist attacks are underway at the Jaffar Express. The law enforcement agencies (LEA) are identifying the attackers through investigation.

According to CTD sources, four alleged facilitators of the attack have been detained while forensic of , weapons used by the dead attackers are also underway.

CTD sources said that the fingerprints have been sent to National Database & Registration Authority (NADRA) to identify the dead attackers, while the gynecological organs of the deceased have also been sent to the forensic agency.

It is to be remembered that the Jaffar Express from Quetta from Peshawar was taken hostage by Balochistan Liberation Army(BLA) terrorists and abducted passengers, including women and children.

All 33 terrorists were killed in a timely retaliation by Pakistani forces, while terrorists killed 25 people, including four Pak army personnel.
