Hyderabad lawyers end protest after transfer of SSP

KARACHI: The Sindh Government has transferred SSP Hyderabad Dr Farrukh Ali Lanjhar , effectively ending the ongoing dispute between police and lawyers.

After the transfer of SSP Hyderabad, the lawyer’s community ended the boycott of court proceedings. On the occasion, lawyers in the Hyderabad District Bar congratulated each other on the transfer of SSP Dr Farrukh Ali Lanjhar.

District Bar President Ashir Majeed said SSP Hyderabad Farrukh Lanjar has been transferred  after the lawyers struggle. He said Sindh government has issued transfer notification of SSP Hyderabad Farrukh Lanjhar.

Asar Majeed said, “We had no personal dispute with anyone but it was a matter of dignity of the lawyers”.

Last month, in Hyderabad, Bhitai Nagar Police Station filed a case against Ali Raza Advocate under the provisions of fraud and fraud on charges of setting a fake number plate against Ali Raza Advocate. on which the lawyers community held a sit -in at the SSP office Hyderabad.
