KARACHI: Two passengers travelling to Saudi Arabia on drivers’ work visas have been arrested at Jinnah International Airport Karachi over possessing fake driving licenses.

Immigration Authorities confirmed that two passenger identified as Shahbaz and Umar were found carrying counterfeit licenses during the immigration process.

Both driving license allegedly issued by the Clifton branch, but investigation revealed that the individuals had never visited the driving license branch in person.

According to resources the fake licenses were obtained through agents at a cost of Rupees 600,000 to 7, 50,000

Interestingly the passengers held valid work visas of Saudi Arabia complete with authentic protector stamps. Both individuals have been taken into custody and transfer to the Anti – Human Trafficking circle for further investigation.
