KARACHI: Renowned Pakistani actress Sadia Imam, celebrated for her memorable roles in iconic 90s PTV dramas such as ‘Wafa’, ‘Chhoti Si Kahani’, and ‘Mehndi’, is currently on a spiritual pilgrimage in Iraq. The versatile artist, also known for her recent popularity as the host of the drama review show ‘Kya Drama Hai’, has been actively sharing glimpses of her journey with her fans on Instagram.

Through her posts, Ms. Imam has documented her visits to significant religious sites in Karbala, including the shrines and burial places of the martyrs. She has been seen offering prayers and reflecting at these sacred locations. The actress has shared numerous photographs of herself dressed in various abayas, accompanying these visuals with heartfelt captions that resonate with her online followers.

These posts have garnered considerable attention on social media, with fellow members of the entertainment industry and her fans expressing their admiration and offering well wishes. Many have also requested her to remember them in her prayers.

It is noteworthy that this is not Ms. Imam’s first spiritual visit to Karbala. Last year in August she also undertook a similar pilgrimage expressing her gratitude for the opportunity. She had then assured her followers that she would keep them in her thoughts and prayers during her time there.
