Boat capsizes in Indus River, two people still missing

KOHAT: A boat carrying passengers capsized in the Indus River near Khushal Garh area of Kohat, resulting in nine people falling into the water.

The rescue teams managed to save seven individuals, while two remain missing. The successful rescue of seven people was made possible with the assistance of local divers.

Rescue teams from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab conducted a seven-hour joint search operation, which was suspended due to darkness. Efforts to locate the missing persons are expected to resume with daylight.

The teams to resume rescue operation from today.
