KARACHI: The team behind Geo Films’ upcoming movie, “Deemak,” believes their project is set to bring a fresh perspective to Pakistani cinema. Lead actress Sonya Hussyn, alongside Faysal Quraishi and Samina Peerzada, shared that “Deemak” was a truly unique experience a blend of modern filmmaking, a thrilling story, and pure entertainment.

Speaking with Geo News, the stars highlighted that “Deemak” will offer “value for money” for audiences of all ages. Director Rafe Rashdi and Executive Producer Syed Murad Ali added that the film isn’t just horror; it weaves in complex family ties, social issues, and supernatural elements, making it stand out.

The movie’s trailer has already caught significant attention, and analysts suggest “Deemak” could indeed set a new trend for Pakistani cinema.

Just yesterday, the director and main cast visited a large Karachi mall, where young fans excitedly greeted them for autographs and photos.

“Deemak,” distributed by Mandviwalla Entertainment, is scheduled to hit cinemas nationwide this Eid-ul-Adha. It stars Faysal Quraishi and Sonya Hussyn in lead roles, supported by veteran actors like Samina Peerzada, Javed Sheikh, and Bushra Ansari.
