Saudi Minister Adel al-Jubeir hailed the US decision on Syria sanctions, seeing it as a chance for reconstruction. He urged an immediate Sudan ceasefire at the Arab League Summit, noting ongoing Saudi mediation.

Al-Jubeir stressed that peace in Yemen and maritime security are top Saudi priorities. He advocated for limiting weapons in Lebanon to government forces, reaffirming Saudi support for Beirut.

Saudi Arabia and Qatar have jointly announced plans to pay Syria’s debt to the World Bank. This indicates a move towards regional cooperation regarding Syria’s challenges.

UN Secretary-General António Guterres demanded an immediate Gaza ceasefire and full aid resumption. He voiced concern over increased Israeli ground operations and rejected forced displacement of Gaza’s.
