KARACHI: Veteran Pakistani actress Samina Peerzada has strongly dismissed the societal belief that women’s income lacks blessings.

Clips from a recent interview are rapidly circulating on social media, where she is seen passionately advocating for women’s independence, hard work, and their right to earn with dignity.

Responding with honesty and simplicity, Samina said, “These are all baseless notions. I have worked hard throughout my life—built a home, raised my daughters, educated them, and helped them achieve their dreams. If there were no blessings in my earnings, how would I have done all this?”

She mentioned her husband, Usman Pirzada, saying, a few days ago, “Usman told me how beautifully you have educated and trained our daughters. We have built our lives together, I took care of the girls, he built a house, and we have always supported each other. It’s not just about earning, but also about training”.

Samina Peerzada shared a beautiful thought which serves as a message for every man and every mother, “I don’t care whether someone opens the door for me or not, but if a man opens the door, then I think his mother has trained him very well. When Usman opens the door for me, I say from my heart that ‘Mom, you have really done a great job”.
