PESHAWAR: At least six members of the same family were killed in the firing of pponents at a house in Peshawar.

According to Peshawar police, the incident took place in the Khatko Pul area, where unidentified assailants targeted a residence. As a result, six individuals from the same family lost their lives, while a woman sustained injuries.

Police said three women were killed in the shootings while the injured woman was shifted to Lady Reading Hospital.

According to police, the sides are neighbors and the victims were accused of killing a woman of the opposition. The accused have fled after the incident.

Police have launched an investigation, and further details are expected as the inquiry progresses.
