TEHRAN: The US broadcaster CNN has released footage of an Iranian state TV building targeted in a recent Israeli strike.

A few days ago, Israel launched attacks on Tehran, during which the headquarters of Iran’s state television channel was hit, causing significant damage to the facility.

After the attack, the broadcasts had to be stopped for a while, while the news anchor Sahar Emami, who read the news during the attack, started to give news shortly after showing his courage.

However, CNN has now made a report on the Iranian TV building, which shows the destroyed studios and newsroom.

The video shows burnt papers and damaged computers, while the building appears severely dilapidated following the fire that broke out after the attack.

Earleir, As deadly missile strikes between Israel and Iran continue into a second week, the United Nations has raised serious concerns over the escalating impact on civilians, cautioning against widespread displacement and growing regional instability.

UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Volker Türk, urged both nations to exercise “maximum restraint” and emphasized their obligation to uphold international humanitarian law.

The ongoing conflict was triggered by a large-scale, unprovoked Israeli assault on multiple locations in Iran last Friday.
