KARACHI: The intense heat gripping Karachi for the past four days has finally eased, with sea breeze now fully restored.

According to reports, southwesterly winds are currently blowing at a speed of 25 kilometers per hour across the city, bringing much-needed relief to residents.

According to the Meteorological Department, southwest winds are currently sweeping across the city at 25 kilometers per hour. The present temperature in Karachi is recorded at 34 degrees Celsius, with forecasters predicting a maximum of 36 to 37 degrees Celsius today.

Humidity levels are noted at 64 percent, and wind speeds are expected to pick up further in the evening. While the sky will remain partly cloudy today, no rainfall is anticipated for the city.

Looking ahead, the Met Department indicates that monsoon rains are likely to commence across the country, including Karachi, from June 25th. This forecast suggests a more significant shift in weather patterns for the region in the coming days.
