TEHRAN:  A fragile ceasefire between Iran and Israel remained intact overnight, with no fresh attacks reported from either side, according to international media outlets.

US President Donald Trump also confirmed that the ceasefire was holding and being observed by both nations.

The Iranian Ministry of Health has released alarming figures in the aftermath of Israeli strikes, reporting 610 deaths and over 4,000 injuries. The attacks also led to the destruction of seven hospitals, nine ambulances, six emergency response bases, and four clinics, severely impacting Iran’s healthcare infrastructure.

In response to the Israeli offensive, Iranian missile attacks caused significant damage in Israel, reducing dozens of buildings to rubble and rendering thousands of people homeless. Iranian strikes reportedly killed 28 Israeli citizens and left many others injured.

Iranian authorities have announced that funerals with full state honors will be held on Saturday for military commanders who were martyred in the Israeli airstrikes.
