Pakistan strongly condemns Israeli airstrikes on Iran

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has strongly condemned the recent Israeli airstrikes on Iran, terming them a blatant violation of Iran’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and international law.

In a statement issued by the Foreign Office, Pakistan declared that Israel’s military actions violate the United Nations Charter and pose a grave threat to regional and global peace.

“Under Article 51 of the UN Charter, Iran has the full right to self-defense,” the Foreign Office emphasized.

Pakistan urged the international community and the United Nations to take immediate steps to halt Israeli aggression, warning that continued provocations could lead to serious destabilization in the region.

The condemnation comes as Israel formally launches a war against Iran, targeting nuclear and military sites in a series of airstrikes. Among those killed were top Iranian military officials, including the Chief of the Armed Forces and the Commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
