Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has achieved a significant milestone, defeating Inter Milan to claim their first-ever Champions League title. However, what began as jubilant celebrations across the French capital quickly devolved into widespread unrest and vandalism.

In a commanding performance during the Champions League final, PSG secured a decisive 5-0 victory over Inter Milan. The team established a strong lead with two goals in the first half, followed by an additional three in the second. Doye was a standout player, netting two goals, while Achraf Hakimi, Kvaratskhelia, and Mayulu each contributed a goal to the historic win.

Thousands of enthusiastic fans gathered at prominent locations throughout Paris to memorialize the momentous victory. The match was broadcast live at numerous sites, allowing a broad audience to witness the triumph. The iconic Eiffel Tower was illuminated in celebration, and a spectacular fireworks display lit up the Parisian sky, symbolizing the club’s achievement.

Despite the initial festive atmosphere, the celebrations unfortunately escalated into disorder and destructive behavior. Law enforcement was compelled to intervene, utilizing batons and tear gas to disperse rioters. In the aftermath of the chaotic celebrations, police confirmed the arrest of 81 individuals involved in the disturbances.

France’s Interior Minister strongly condemned the acts of “barbarism” that occurred on the streets of Paris. He affirmed that stringent legal measures would be taken against those responsible for the vandalism and unrest. The incidents unfortunately cast a shadow over what was a truly historic and long-awaited victory for Paris Saint-Germain.
