Islamabad: A joint operation by police and intelligence agencies in the border region of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) has resulted in the killing of a Khawarij terrorist commander, Maulvi Nazir.

According to police, the operation was launched following intelligence reports about the presence of terrorists in the mountainous areas along the Punjab and KP border.

Police stated that the operation successfully neutralized the Khawarij terrorist, Maulvi Nazir Commander. Local residents also provided assistance during the joint effort.
