Karachi: Veteran actor Yasir Nawaz announced the passing of his brother Waqar Nawaz on Tuesday, sharing the heartfelt news via Instagram.

Taking to the Instagram, Yasir expressed his grief, writing, Inna lilahi wa inna ilayhi rajiún. with deep sorrow , we share that our beloved and caring brother Waqar Nawaz has passed away.

The news has cast a somber shadow over the Nawaz family, renowned for their humor and lighthearted spirit.

He further wrote, “May Allah (SWT) forgive his shortcomings, grant him the highest place in Jannat-ul-Firdous, and give patience and strength to his family”.
