6 killed, 18 injured in tragic bus-trailer collision in Muzaffargarh

MUZAFFARGARH: At least six people lost their lives and 18 others sustained injuries in a tragic road accident early Saturday morning near Langar Sarai in Muzaffargarh.

According to initial reports, the accident occurred when a passenger bus collided with a trailer, resulting in multiple casualties.

Rescue teams promptly reached the site and shifted the injured to nearby hospitals, where several are said to be in critical condition.

The dead included 2 men, 2 women and 2 children, the injured were immediately shifted to a nearby hospital.

According to police, the bus was traveling from Jhang to Alipur, investigations are underway to find out the cause of the accident.

Rescue 1122 teams swiftly responded to the tragic bus-trailer collision near Langar Sarai, transporting the injured to nearby hospitals for emergency treatment.

According to a police spokesperson, the District Traffic Officer (DTO), DSP, and SHO arrived at the scene with their teams shortly after the incident.

Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the exact cause of the accident. Further updates will follow as the inquiry progresses.
