KARACHI: President Asian Cricket Council (ACC) Mohsin Naqvi on Saturday announced the schedule for Asia Cup 2025.

According to a message posted by Mohsin Naqvi on X (formerly Twitter), the tournament will take place from September 9 to September 28. He said Asia Cup 2025 will be held in the UAE and detailed schedule will be announced soon.

The proposed tournament will feature eight teams, including arch-rivals Pakistan and India, with matches scheduled to be played in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. This suggestion came to light during the ACC’s annual gathering, where discussions around the future of Asian cricket took place.

Following the ACC meeting, President Mohsin Naqvi addressed the media, confirming that all 25 member nations participated in the annual session, which was conducted in a very positive atmosphere. Naqvi emphasized the consensus among all members that “no politics should be brought into the ACC platform.”
