CM Bugti confirms arrests in heinous killing of man and woman

QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarafraz Bugti has announced the arrest of 11 suspects in connection with the brutal murder of a man and a woman.

The disturbing video, which circulated widely online, prompted immediate action from the provincial government. CM Bugti took notice of the incident and confirmed that the victims shown in the video have been identified.

He further stated that law enforcement agencies are actively pursuing the remaining culprits and that the government is committed to ensuring justice is served swiftly.

Issuing a statement on social media, the Chief Minister said that 11 suspects have been arrested in the murder of a woman and a man so far, the operation is underway.

He stated that all individuals involved in the incident will be brought to justice, affirming that the state stands with the victims and the oppressed.

Earlier, the Chief Minister had said that preliminary investigations revealed that the tragic incident took place a few days before Eid, whose video recently appeared.

He said that after the video surfaced, the police were directed to take immediate action on the abominable crime, which has been registered under the provisions of terrorism in the state’s case and a suspected killer involved in the murder of the girl has been arrested while the search for other accused is underway.c
