Family dispute turns deadly in Orangi Town

Karachi: A violent family dispute in the Mominabad Chowk area of Orangi Town resulted in the tragic deaths of three individuals, including a father-in-law.

The incident unfolded when a son-in-law, along with his father and other relatives, opened fire during a heated argument, leading to a brutal shooting.

According to police reports, the victims have been identified as Ghausuddin, Gul Bat Khan, and Amin. The confrontation escalated quickly, culminating in the son-in-law allegedly shooting and killing his father-in-law, Ghausuddin, alongside two other individuals.

West Police promptly responded to the scene and arrested two suspects believed to be involved in the killings, including the father of the main accused. Authorities have launched a search for the son-in-law, with raids underway to apprehend him.

During the investigation, police recovered nine MM pistols and other weapons from the scene. Forensic teams are collecting additional evidence to piece together the sequence of events.

Police officials stated that the incident originated from a family dispute when Ghausuddin visited his daughter’s house. An argument ensued, and during the altercation, the son-in-law and his relatives opened fire, resulting in multiple casualties.
