Karachi: Veteran Pakistani showbiz actor Mohsin Gillani has disclosed that years before the recent tragic deaths of actresses Ayesha Khan and Humaira Asghar, the body of another prominent showbiz personality was recovered from a flat in Karachi.

In a recent podcast, Mohsin Gillani revealed that the renowned Pakistani director Javed Fazil’s body was found in his flat, which had to be broken into. This revelation comes in the wake of the recent incidents where the bodies of actresses Ayesha Khan and Humaira Asghar were discovered in their respective flats.

Mohsin Gillani stated that Javed Fazil was a senior and respected name in the showbiz industry, someone whom “perhaps today’s generation has forgotten.” He recounted that one day, Javed Fazil returned to his flat late at night after a shooting, but did not show up on set the following day. Initially, colleagues assumed the delay was normal, but after a considerable time passed and the producer tried to contact him without success, concerns grew.

Mohsin Gillani further explained that upon continued attempts to locate Javed Fazil, it was discovered he hadn’t even come for breakfast. This led to the decision to break into his flat, where his body was found. Javed Fazil passed away in 2010 in his flat located in Karachi’s Defence area, where he had been living alone.

It is noteworthy that just a few days prior, the bodies of senior Pakistani actress Ayesha Khan and actress/model Humaira Asghar were also found in their flats, which deeply saddened the entire industry.
