Prominent host and actress Juggun Kazim has formally apologized to fellow young actress Alizeh Shah.

In a video statement on social media, Kazim expressed deep regret, acknowledging that as a senior artist, her actions were inappropriate, causing Alizeh Shah to feel hurt. She clarified that her intention was never to cause distress.

Kazim’s apology follows a video from Alizeh Shah. Shah had alleged singer Shazia Manzoor pushed her during an event and was upset by Juggun Kazim’s “sarcastic reaction.” Alizeh specifically criticized Juggun for mimicking the ramp incident and smiling while embracing Shazia, stating her respect for Kazim had changed.

Juggun Kazim also addressed the insensitive memes and comments about Alizeh circulating online. She stressed that sensitive news should be taken seriously, not used for humor. Kazim urged the public and media to respect others’ dignity and maintain civil behavior.

Responding directly to Alizeh’s feelings, Kazim said, “I would absolutely not want any junior or young person in my industry to be upset because of me. If your feelings were hurt because of me, I immediately apologize to you.” Kazim noted the incident occurred four years ago, adding, “I don’t think apologizing makes anyone bigger or smaller.”

“It is our duty to apologize if we have hurt someone’s feelings,” she concluded, offering a heartfelt apology to Alizeh. Juggun Kazim also extended apologies to her own children and husband, emphasizing her belief in seeking forgiveness for any pain caused.
