Karachi heat eases as sea winds resume

KARACHI: The spell of heat and humidity in the city has eased as sea breeze fully resumed, bringing much-needed relief to residents.
According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature recorded today was 29.5°C, while the maximum reached 35°C.
Humidity levels remained high at 79%, contributing to the overall muggy conditions despite the return of winds.
Southwesterly winds are now blowing through the city at a speed of 12 kilometers per hour, helping stabilize the weather and improve air quality.
Meteorologists predict similar conditions over the next 24 hours, with no immediate chances of rain.
Looking ahead the PMD forecasts that the monsoon system will begin to affect Sindh including Karachi from July 16th, bringing with it the possibility of light to moderate rainfall in the city.
