LONDON:  Pakistan Air Force (PAF) aircraft have won international accolades at the prestigious Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT) show held at RAF Fairford in London—one of the world’s largest and most esteemed military air shows.

Participants from 30 countries took part in the event, but Pakistan’s JF-17 Thunder stood out as a major highlight, earning praise for its performance and capabilities. The aircraft’s exceptional display captured global attention and reinforced PAF’s growing reputation on the international stage.

Pakistan’s JF-17 Thunder added another feather to its cap by winning the prestigious “Spirit of the Meet” trophy at the Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT) show in the UK.

In another proud moment for the Pakistan Air Force, the PAF’s C-130 aircraft secured first place and was awarded the “Concours d’Elegance” trophy for the best overall presentation and display.

The C-130 stood out with its striking livery, featuring the iconic image of a Shaheen (falcon)—symbolizing Pakistan’s strength and courage. The fierce eyes of the Shaheen design were said to instill fear in adversaries, making it a visual embodiment of the nation’s aerial prowess.
