PMD: Light rain expected in Karachi

Karachi: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has announced that Karachi’s skies will remain cloudy today, with a possibility of light rain or drizzle occurring in the evening or at night.

The city’s minimum temperature was recorded at 29 degrees Celsius this morning, with the humidity level standing at 75%. The maximum temperature is anticipated to be 35 degrees Celsius.

Gusty winds, blowing at 20 to 30 kilometers per hour, are also anticipated intermittently throughout the day.

The PMD further indicates that despite the partly cloudy conditions, there is no forecast for heavy rainfall in Karachi over the next seven days.
