Rangers arrest two street crime suspects from Landhi

KARACHI: The joint crackdown on street crime by Pakistan Rangers Sindh and Karachi Police continues, as two suspects allegedly involved in multiple street crime incidents were arrested during a targeted operation in Landhi Town.

According to a spokesperson for Rangers, acting on intelligence reports, Rangers and police apprehended Akbar Saeed and Syed Moiz, who were reportedly involved in several criminal activities across different parts of the city.

A 9mm pistol with ammunition and a mobile phone were recovered from the suspects at the time of their arrest.

The suspects confessed to their involvement in a robbery at a shop in the Kala Pul area, which was also captured on CCTV footage. The footage clearly shows the suspects committing the crime.

The arrested individuals, along with the recovered weapon and ammunition, have been handed over to police for further legal proceedings.
