Police authorities confirmed that motorcyclists remain the most vulnerable group, followed by pedestrians, and then passengers or drivers of smaller vehicles.

Experts attribute the rising death toll to reckless driving, poor enforcement of traffic regulations, and the unchecked movement of heavy vehicles around the clock on city roads.
